Our God of Signs and Wonders
“You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples.” Psalm 77:14
God has not changed. The One who parted the Red Sea, fed thousands with a few loaves, healed the sick, and raised the dead is still active today, a God of signs and wonders.
He doesn’t perform wonders to impress or entertain. His signs carry purpose, they reveal His glory, affirm His word, strengthen our faith, and often serve as a turning point in someone’s life or destiny.
From Genesis to Revelation, God uses signs to communicate, confirm, and demonstrate His presence and power.
For Moses, it was a burning bush and a staff that turned into a serpent. For Gideon, it was dew on fleece. For Mary, it was a virgin birth. For the early Church, it was healings, visions, and tongues of fire. And today, for many believers, it is answered prayers, divine timing, prophetic insight, or healing that defies logic.
But here is the key: We don’t chase signs, we follow God, and signs follow us.
“These signs will accompany those who believe…” Mark 16:17
Our God still heals. He still speaks. He still moves. Sometimes in quiet whispers. Other times in unmistakable power. Either way, He still works wonders.
Are you expecting God to move in your life with wonder, or have you grown too accustomed to “normal”? Ask God to open your eyes to His miraculous hand, even in small things.
Lord, You are the God of wonders. Let me never grow dull to Your power or doubtful of Your presence. Do in me and around me what only You can do, signs that glorify You and deepen my faith. Amen.
