Broken Yet Becoming
“But now, O Lord, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You our potter; and we all are the work of Your hand.” Isaiah 64:8.
Before time began, God had a plan!
A counsel was held in eternity. And your life was not left out of that plan!
The Sovereign Potter saw every crack, every fall, every failure, and still chose you. Not because you were perfect, but because He already determined how He would bring beauty out of the broken.
Life may have left you shattered, stained, or scarred. But with God, nothing is wasted.
The potter doesn’t throw away marred clay. He remakes it (Jeremiah 18:4). That’s the dimension of grace: even when the vessel breaks, the hands that formed it never let go.
The enemy may have thought your story was over. He may have rejoiced at the breaking. But he didn’t know God had already factored it in. What the enemy meant for evil, God rethreads into purpose (Genesis 50:20).
Romans 8:28 reminds us that in all things, not some o, all things, God works for good. Not everything feels good, but everything gets used.

The predetermined counsel of God isn’t shaken by detours. He is the Author and Finisher, and He never drops His pen mid-story.
So if you feel broken, don’t despair. You are still in His hands.
Lord, thank You that my life is not random, and that even when I don’t understand the pieces, You are shaping a masterpiece. I surrender my cracks, my past, my pain. Use it all for Your glory. I trust the Potter’s hands. Amen.
