Thankful To Others
“I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Corinthians 1:4
In 1989, at the height of South America’s drug wars, Kurt Muse was the most-wanted man in Panama.
A U.S. army veteran raised in Panama, Muse first rose to fame when he led a band of Panamanian patriots for two years in a plot to overthrow the oppressive narco-military dictator General Manuel Noriega by broadcasting an underground opposition radio station dubbed The Voice of Liberty. He was captured by Noriega and subjected to torture for 9 months.
Under threat of imminent execution, elite and secret U.S. Army Delta Force operators fought their way into Modelo Prison and freed Muse in a daring rescue mission!
Muse has been forever grateful to the 23 men of Delta Force who rescued him. On the anniversary of his rescue, Kurt calls each of his 23 rescuers to thank them and to update them on the life and family of the man they saved.
We also need to be thankful to those special people in our lives.
Thank the Lord for those special people and then let them know that you appreciate them.
When it comes to life, the critical thing is whether you take things for granted or take them with gratitude.
“First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is being reported all over the world.” Romans 1:8
