Healthy Diet
“Call to Me, and I will answer you, and I will show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” Jeremiah 33:3
If you get most of your daily nutrition from fast foods, then you are definitely not eating healthy.
The fast-food industry has many appeals. You get it fast, it fills your tummy and you’re back on the move immediately, in fact, sometimes, you have it on the move!
It is easy to fall into this “fast-food mentality” even as regards our spiritual diet. But in God’s kingdom, there are no fast foods.
When we are caught up in this fast-food mentality, we lose the true meaning of patience. True patience is the ability to wait on the Lord when we are seeking His face. And to also wait on God through trials without complaining and worrying.
We need to set a time to seek his face. We need to trust God and patiently wait on Him to answer us in a new way! We cannot shortcut the things of God. If we want a deeper anointing of the Spirit in our lives, then we need to avoid this fast-food mentality.
We cannot have a deeper walk with the Lord without spending time in his Word, without spending time in intimate prayer, without walking in repentance and humility, and practising a life of holiness.
Yes, it is a tall order, but when we are focused on God and patiently wait on Him to answer – He will bring us blessings beyond our imagination!
Let’s not settle for burgers, fries, and coke, when the Lord has a delicious, heavenly feast prepared for us! Let’s get into God’s presence and sit down to the feast He has for us.
