Living Faith
“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1
Have you ever heard someone say, “I’ll believe it when I see it?” Maybe you have even said it yourself. The statement that we will believe something when we see it takes no faith, because faith comes from hope and an assurance that even though we do not see it yet, we know it will come to pass!
Faith is an action that comes from putting our hope and trust in our faithful King.
Faith is not easy. Faith is looking at our current circumstances and deciding to believe what God said over what you currently see. It is choosing to see with our spiritual eyes instead of our natural ones.
To have faith in action, we have to have hope.
To have hope, we have to have trust.
To have trust, we have to have a relationship.
To walk in faith and believe God over what you see comes from knowing Him and spending time with Him. When we know Him, we will trust Him, and from that place of trust, we will hope in Him. When we hope, we can have faith in what we do not yet see.
Do you have faith?
