Be Adults
“Brothers, stop thinking like children. In regard to evil be infants, but in your thinking be adults.” – 1 Corinthians 14:20
The term ‘kidults’ is a British term describing “adults who are retaining a sense of youth by investing in lifestyles typically associated with young people, like games and fashion”.
In 2022, “kidults” represented 60% of growth in the toy industry despite only accounting for 25% of sales. It’s estimated that $9 billion is spent annually on toys for adults.
Jennifer Lynch, The Toy Association content developer, told the TODAY Show that the last couple years have resulted in many more adults playing with toys or games.
Hundreds of comments on the TODAY Show’s segment indicate that many people find this trend to be sad and maybe even a little disturbing.
“The only trend should be these people growing the heck up,” someone responded.

Give thanks to the Lord and seek to be a mature Christian in all that you do.
