What Great Love

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.”
1 John 3:1

God’s love for us is unmatched.

He does not just do the bare minimum; He lavishes us with His love. His love is perfect and extravagant. His love is what saved us and made a way for us to become children of God.

What a great love.

There truly is nothing else like His love; no one else compares or even comes close.

God did not just save us; He made a way for us to be with Him forever. Now, we are not just saved, but we are His children. He chose us and adopted us. His love sacrificed everything to lavish such great love on us.

When we did not earn or deserve it, He still paid the price, died, and rose again. There is nothing we can do to make Him love us less or more.

Now, we can lavish our love on Him every day by spending time with Him, following His ways, putting Him first, and loving those around us well. God did not hold back for us; let’s not hold anything back from Him. Choose to love our beautiful savior lavishly!
