God Remembers
“Remember me for this, my God, and do not blot out what I have so faithfully done for the house of my God and its services.” Nehemiah 13:14
Nehemiah’s prayer reveals a heart wholly dedicated to God’s work. He had poured himself into the service of restoring the temple and ensuring its proper function. In asking God to remember his faithfulness, Nehemiah expressed his trust in God’s justice and His ability to see the intentions behind his actions.
This verse is a reminder that God sees and values our acts of faithfulness, no matter how big or small they may seem.
In a world where recognition often feels fleeting, it can be easy to wonder if our efforts matter. But God does not forget. He cherishes the time, energy, and love we dedicate to Him and His kingdom.
Whether it’s serving in church, helping a neighbor, or sharing the gospel, every faithful act is seen and treasured by our Lord.
Are you serving faithfully where God has placed you? Trust that He sees your work, even if others do not. God is the ultimate rewarder of faithfulness, and your service to Him has eternal value.
