Rain Is Coming
“Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is deemed a forest.” Isaiah 32:15
Dry seasons can be discouraging.
Like parched ground, our hearts can grow weary waiting, waiting for answered prayers, breakthroughs, provision, or restoration. But the Word of the Lord brings a promise: Rain is coming.
In the Bible, rain often symbolizes God’s blessing, His Spirit, and His favor. In 1 Kings 18, after years of drought, Elijah boldly declared, “There is the sound of abundance of rain.” Though the sky was clear at first, the rain eventually poured.
You may not see a cloud yet. You may feel overlooked or delayed. But don’t be discouraged, God is still working. That small cloud in the distance is enough for Him to bring a downpour.
The promise in Isaiah 32:15 is clear: when the Spirit is poured out, even the barren places of your life will bloom. What was dry will become fruitful. What was broken will be restored.
Hold on. Stay faithful. The rain is coming. You’re on the edge of a shift. God doesn’t forget the seeds you’ve sown in tears. He’s preparing the downpour.
Pray with me, “Lord, thank You for the promise of rain. Strengthen my faith in this waiting season. Let Your Spirit fall afresh on me, reviving, refreshing, and restoring every dry place in my life. I receive Your rain by faith. Amen.
