Go With God
“Then Moses said to him, ‘If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.'” Exodus 33:15.
Moses was no ordinary man. Raised in Pharaoh’s palace, trained in the wisdom of Egypt, seasoned by forty years in the wilderness, and empowered by God to confront empires, yet, at the peak of leadership, he made a request that reveals the secret of true success: “If Your presence doesn’t go with us, don’t send us.”
Moses understood something most of us often forget: skill, experience, and strategy are not enough without God. He knew the path ahead was unpredictable, filled with battles, unknown terrain, and hidden enemies. But more than fearing the journey, he feared moving without God.
We, too, stand at the edge of decisions, transitions, and unknown tomorrows. And while we may have gathered wisdom, plans, or people, we need more.
We need the “Presence”. Because God doesn’t just know the future, He inhabits it. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the God who goes before us, walks beside us, and covers us from behind.
To “Go with God” is to walk in peace when the road is uncertain. It is to move, not with the confidence of self, but the assurance of “His nearness.” It is to choose His way, even when it costs us ours.
So, don’t just go fast, or go far, Go with God. That’s where the true victory lies.
Lord, I need You. I surrender my plans, my fears, and my expectations. Lead me, walk with me, and go ahead of me. For in You, I am safe, strong, and secure.
