Rehoboth
“He moved on from there and dug another well, and no one quarreled over it. He named it Rehoboth, saying, ‘Now the Lord has given us room and we will flourish in the land.’” Genesis 26:22.
Isaac is familiar with such times and seasons when it feels like every door is shut, every effort resisted, and every opportunity is met with opposition. He knew this struggle. He dug wells, only to be met with quarrel and contention. But he didn’t give up, he moved forward in faith.
Then came Rehoboth. A place where the striving ceased. A place where God made room. Isaac recognized it, not as coincidence, but divine intervention.
He said, “Now the Lord has given us room, and we will flourish in the land.”
Rehoboth is a season. A shift. A divine opening after a time of pressure. It is God making space for you, where once there was resistance. It’s the breaking of limitations, the end of contention, the beginning of rest and fruitfulness.
If you have been in a season of closed doors or silent prayers, trust this: God is the God of Rehoboth. He sees your striving, hears your cries, and in His time, He makes room. When He does, no man can shut it. No enemy can block it. No fear can stop it.
This is your Rehoboth. Step into it with faith. Breathe. Flourish. The Lord has made room for you.
Lord, thank You for the places where You have made room for me. Even when I faced resistance, You were guiding me to Rehoboth. Lord I am grateful. Amen.
