Reach Out In Faith
“She said to herself, ‘If I only touch the hem of his garment, I will be healed.’” Matthew 9:21.
Faith isn’t always loud. Sometimes, it’s a whisper in the heart, a quiet confidence that says, “If I just act in faith, God will meet me there.”
The woman with the issue of blood had suffered for twelve long, painful years. Twelve years of trying, longing, searching, and waiting for change. She had spent all she had on doctors, but her condition only worsened. By every human standard, hope was gone.
But she had something more powerful than money or medicine, her faith.
She didn’t try to figure out how the healing would manifest. She didn’t request a meeting or a miracle tailored to her. She simply believed that if she could touch the hem of Jesus’ garment, she would be healed. And she was.
Jesus turned and said to her, “Take heart, daughter; your faith has healed you.” Matthew 9:22.
She didn’t calculate the method. She didn’t analyze the outcome. She reached out and that was enough.
You don’t need to have it all figured out. Faith isn’t about projecting the method; it’s about trusting the God behind the miracle.
This woman’s story reminds us:
<span;><span;>- Faith may be quiet, but it is powerful.
<span;><span;>- Faith presses through crowds, obstacles, and fear.
<span;><span;>- Faith doesn’t wait for perfect understanding; it moves on divine prompting.
<span;><span;>- Faith is not passive, it reaches.
Are you waiting for clarity before trusting? Are you holding back because the “how” is unclear?
You don’t need to see the whole picture. You just need to touch the hem. Faith goes where logic can’t.
Lord, I lay down my need to understand. I choose to reach out in faith. Even if all I can do is touch the hem of Your garment, I know You are enough. Amen.
