Faith That Receives
“By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.” Hebrews 11:8.
Faith is the key that unlocks the promises of God!
It is the universal currency of the Kingdom, and it has the same value before God everywhere, whether it is found in Africa, Asia, or the Middle East. Faith moves heaven. It pulls unseen promises into present reality.
Abraham is our picture of this kind of faith. God promised him land, legacy, and a name. But before he received, he believed. He left without a map, trusting the voice of the Promise-Giver. And in time, God gave him the land, enlarged his territory, and established him.
That same promise echoes to us today:
“I will establish you… I will give you a place of your own… I will make room for you.” 2 Samuel 7:10, Genesis 26:22.
Faith is not wishful thinking, it’s a settled confidence in God’s word, even when you can’t see the result. It means trusting when the doors haven’t opened yet and walking when you don’t know the full path. Itbis believing when your surroundings scream “impossible.”
God delights in planting His people. He gives land, place, and territory, not just physically, but also spiritually, emotionally, and purposefully. But we must receive it by faith.
Don’t just admire the promises, possess it. Speak it. Stand on it. Walk toward it, even with trembling steps. God is faithful to perform what He has promised.
Lord, I believe that You have a place for me, a calling, a land, a space to thrive and bless others. Help me to walk by faith and not by sight. I receive Your promise and trust You to establish me. Amen.
