Don’t Turn Away

“And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.” Hebrews 10:38

God has called us to a life of faith, and so our trust in God should be the foundation and pillar of our life.
It is by grace we are saved, not by works, and the victory we claim in Christ as well as the glory we expect in Him was fully paid for by our Lord Jesus Christ, but it is by faith that we receive it.

What this means is that if we got here by faith, it also means we can only grow, progress and become all that God wants us to be only by faith.

Our faith is not in ourselves. Yes! you need to believe in yourself but only as you trust in God.

Jeremiah 17: 5 says; This is what the Lord says: “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord.

Yes, we also need to build relationships, make plans, use technology etc, yet we must put our trust wholly in God.

We should not let intellectual abilities, mental capacity or technical know-how take us away from God.

The arm of flesh will fail for to err is human, Christ alone is the living water that truly satisfies. He is the sure and firm foundation. All other grounds are sinking sands.

Let no success or failure move your trust away from your creator who is blessed forever.

He cannot lie or disappoint.
He cannot fail not does He expire or retire.

Never shrink back or turn away, continue to trust in Him.
