Chains Fall When God Intervene
“Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared, and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. ‘Quick, get up!’ he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists.” Acts 12:7
Peter was chained, guarded, and sentenced to death, but heaven had another plan.
In the darkest hour, God sent an angel. Not a negotiation. Not a delay but a sudden intervention.
This moment reminds us that no matter how tight the grip of a situation, be it fear, sin, addiction, depression, or actual opposition, when God steps in, chains fall. Light shines. Freedom comes. His help is never late.
Sometimes we wait for our situation to change, but notice: the angel woke Peter up before the chains fell off.
There are seasons when God calls us to wake up in faith, to get up in obedience, and only then do we see the miracle.
Where have you given up hope because the chains seem too strong? Invite God in. Trust that His timing is perfect. Get up in faith, your chains will fall.
Lord, thank You for Your power to break every chain. Wake me up to Your presence, stir my heart with faith, and let every form of bondage fall off me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
