“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5–6.
Life is full of crossroads. Some choices seem clear, others are clouded in uncertainty. At times, we long for a sign, a voice, or a map to show us which way to go. But God doesn’t just give directions, He is the way.
He doesn’t leave us to wander aimlessly. He promises that if we trust Him and submit our ways to Him, He will make our paths straight. That doesn’t mean the path will always be easy or quick, but it will be right.
God leads step by step, often not showing us the whole road, but just enough light for the next move. This keeps us close to Him, dependent not on formulas or feelings, but on faith. His Word is a lamp to our feet, not a spotlight that floods the whole journey.
And when we veer off course, He redirects. When we wait on Him, He strengthens. When we’re confused, He brings clarity.
Lord, I surrender every decision, every uncertainty, and every step to You. Lead me in the way I should go. Not my will, but Yours. Direct my heart, order my steps, and give me peace as I follow. Amen.
