God Is Gracious
“Ask the Lord for rain in the springtime; it is the Lord who sends the thunderstorms. He gives showers of rain to all people, and plants of the field to everyone.” Zechariah 10:1
God’s grace is abundant and freely given. Zechariah 10:1 reminds us of this by illustrating how God graciously provides for our needs.
Just as He sends rain to nourish the earth, He pours out His grace upon us, meeting our physical, spiritual, and emotional needs.
God’s grace is evident throughout the Bible, from the Old Testament, where He guided and provided for the Israelites, to the New Testament, where He gave His only Son, Jesus, as the ultimate gift of grace.
Through Jesus, we receive forgiveness, redemption, and the promise of eternal life.
We cannot earn this grace; it is a gift freely given out of God’s great love for us.
As you meditate on God’s gracious nature, remember that His grace is available to us every day. We can approach Him with confidence, knowing that He delights in giving good gifts to His children. Let us also extend this grace to others, showing kindness, compassion, and forgiveness as a reflection of the grace we have received
