Hallowed Be Thy Name

“Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of this your servant and to the prayer of your servants who delight in revering your name…”
Nehemiah‬ ‭1‬:‭11

Nehemiah’s prayer in this verse reveals a powerful truth about approaching God: reverence for His name is the key to answered prayer.

Nehemiah acknowledges God’s sovereignty and humbly asks for His attention, not based on his own merit but because of his deep delight in honoring the Lord.

When we approach God in prayer, our heart posture matters.
