His Right Hand
“Your right hand, O Lord, was majestic in power. Your right hand, O Lord, shattered the enemy.” Exodus 15:6.
All throughout Scripture, the right hand of God symbolizes power, authority, victory and favor.
The right hand of God is a declaration of how God moves on behalf of His people.
In Exodus 15, after the miraculous crossing of the Red Sea, Moses and the Israelites sang of God’s deliverance. It wasn’t their strength that saved them, it was the right hand of the Lord. His hand made a way through the sea and crushed their enemies without a single sword lifted by Israel.
The right hand of God is strength in your weakness.
That’s why Isaiah 41:10 says, “I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
His right hand is Victory over your battles. Psalm 20:6 says, “He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand.”
His right hand is exaltation through Christ. That’s why Psalm 110:1 says of the Lord, “Sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies a footstool for your feet”
And we know that Jesus is now seated at the right hand of the Father, the highest place of honor and we also are seated with Him. Ephesians 2:6.
That means we walk in the victory His right hand secured!
Whatever you’re facing today, remember: God’s right hand is not short. It saves. It lifts. It secures and it fights for you. Hallelujah.
Father, thank You that Your right hand is mighty to save me. I place my trust not in my own ability, but in Your strength. Uphold me, defend me, and lead me in victory. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
