His Thoughts Are Always Good Toward You
“I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope” Jeremiah 29:1
It’s easy to believe that God has good plans for our life when things are working out well, but it’s a little tougher when the path is rough and difficult. Believing God can be hard after a loss or an endless wait for a particular breakthrough, or rising insecurity
It is said that God is more concerned with your heart condition and character than your comfort.
God will go to great lengths to squash a false gospel and repair a cracked foundation in our faith, not out of anger but out of love. He knows we can miss Him completely if we misunderstand Him. But He would not give up on us.
His thoughts toward you are so much more than anything you could have ever imagined on your own despite whatever circumstances you walk through.
Instead of being so fixated on the plans for your life, realize you need to be more interested in knowing God’s thoughts towards you.
Your behaviour should be determined by your identity.
Anyone who calls on God is welcomed into the family and named a beloved son or daughter – Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. John 1:12
When you were dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having cancelled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. Colossians 2:13-14.
Your position with God isn’t dependent on performance, it depends on faith.
All our sins are forgiven and washed away in Jesus, who cancelled all our debt and nailed it to the cross.
You are not an employee of God, you are His child. No matter the circumstance be confident that your Father in heaven has your best interest at heart.
