Invest In Your Faith
“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. Mark 11:22
Without a doubt, in our days, knowledge has increased greatly as prophesied in Daniel 12:4, yet Jesus said in Luke 18:8, “…when the Son of man returns, shall he find faith on the earth?”, this suggests that as knowledge increases in the last days, faith may be on the decline.
The quest for science and knowledge has really led to amazing innovative feats by man, yet Paul posits that we will always have “partial knowledge”;
“Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely”.1 Corinthians 13:12
So despite the many benefits of knowledge, it will not be enough to get men all his answers, neither will it give Him eternal perfection. Faith, on the other hand, works differently.
Jesus said, “If you only have faith in God, this is the absolute truth, you can say to this Mount of Olives, ‘Rise up and fall into the Mediterranean,’ and your command will be obeyed. All that’s required is that you really believe and have no doubt!” Mark 11:22-23
Where knowledge and science stop, faith continues!
Therefore, as you acquire more knowledge remember to invest much more in your faith! For though knowledge will get you some natural rewards and benefits, without faith in Jesus, there is no access to supernatural resources and rewards.
