It All Belongs To You
“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.” Psalm 24:1
Everything we have, our time, talents, treasures, breath, and being, is not truly ours. It all belongs to God.
We are not owners; we are stewards. The car you drive, the house you live in, the money you earn, the gifts you carry, all of it exists by His grace and for His purpose. Even your story, your pain, your victories. They are tools in His hands to display His glory.
David understood this. In 1 Chronicles 29:14 he said, “Everything comes from You, and we have given You only what comes from Your hand.” He had wealth, power, and kingship. yet he knew none of it was really his.
When we live with this perspective, pride falls, pressure lifts, and worship rises.
When success comes, we don’t boast, we bless, and when giving feels hard, we remember it’s not ours anyway. When God calls us to surrender, we release it back to the rightful Owner.
Even your life isn’t your own. You were bought with a price. (1 Corinthians 6:19–20), and your purpose is to glorify Him in all things.
So today, lay it all down again. Your plans. Your gifts. Your resources. Your relationships. Let this be your declaration: “It all belongs to You.”
Lord, everything I have is from You and for You. I surrender the illusion of ownership and embrace the joy of stewardship. Use all I am for Your purpose and glory. It all belongs to You. Amen.
