Loving Jesus
“He who hates me hates my Father as well.” John 15:23
Hating Jesus is not just a personal affront to Him, but it is also a rejection of the Father. To hate One is to hate the other.
This passage reminds us of the unity and close relationship between the Father and the Son, and highlights the seriousness of rejecting Jesus.
When we love and follow Jesus, we are also loving and following the Father.
It is important to cultivate a love for Jesus, as it is an expression of love for the Father and the source of our salvation. You cannot reject Jesus and be saved.
God’s word means what it says. Whoever hates Jesus, hates the Father. Jesus is the only way to the Father and the only way that we can be saved.
“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12.
He is the only way, the only truth, and the only life. “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6
Let’s make us of all the opportunities and avenue available to us to show the love of Jesus to those who do not know Him.
