Royal Speech
“The lips of a king speak as an oracle, and his mouth does not betray justice.” Proverbs 16:10″
As children of God, redeemed by Christ and made a royal priesthood, our words carry more weight than we realize.
Proverbs 16:10 paints a picture of the responsibility that rests on a king’s lips, his words are to be like oracles, aligned with divine truth, and anchored in justice.
If we are kings and priests in Christ (Revelation 1:6), then our speech must reflect heaven’s wisdom, not earthly impulse.
Our lips are not meant to echo gossip, deceit, or rash emotion, but to declare truth, peace, justice, and hope.
This verse reminds us: authority without integrity is dangerous. But when God gives you a voice, He also calls you to speak with righteousness.
Let your words reflect the King you represent. Let your mouth never betray justice. In a noisy world, be an oracle of grace and truth.
Lord, train my lips to speak with wisdom and justice. Help me use the authority You’ve given me to build, bless, and honor You. Amen.
