The Fullness of His Love and Power
“…and to know this love that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:19.
Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 3 invites us into something extraordinary:
“Lord, give me the strength to grasp the vastness of Your love.”
This is not mere head knowledge but it is a revelation that reshapes the heart.
Christ’s love is:
– Measured in mercy,
– Heightened in holiness,
– Deepened in sacrifice,
– Widened to embrace even the most distant soul.
Paul prays that we would not only know this love but be filled by it, to the very measure of God’s own fullness.
It is a bold prayer, because it stretches our capacity to receive and to believe.
The limit is never on God’s end. It’s in our small expectations, timid prayers, and limited faith.
His power is already at work within us, we don’t need more strength, we need more surrender.
Lord, awaken my heart to the depth of Your love. Expand my faith to believe beyond what I see, and glorify Yourself in me, beyond all I could ask or imagine. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
