The Sealed Life
“Having believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit.” Ephesians 1:13.
The enemy didn’t just come too late, he came to the wrong address.
The moment you believed in Christ, something invisible but eternal happened: you were sealed by the Holy Spirit. This seal is not symbolic, it is actually spiritual ownership. God put His mark on you and said, “MINE.”
Think of a royal seal on a scroll. Once the King’s emblem is stamped, no one touches it without consequence. That’s your life now, sealed and secured in Christ. Hell may knock, but it has no key!
When Job was attacked, the enemy had to ask for permission, because God had placed a hedge around him (Job 1:10).
In Christ, your life is even more secure, not just hedged, but hidden in Him, sealed by His Spirit, and defended by His righteousness.
Your name is written in the Book of Life, and the ink doesn’t fade.
Yes, spiritual battles exist, but you don’t fight for victory. No!, you fight from victory!
Christ already triumphed, and you are included in that triumph (Colossians 2:15).
So live with the quiet confidence of someone untouchable by accusation and unstoppable by fear.
Father, thank You that my life is sealed by Your Spirit and secured in Christ. I belong to You. No fear, shame or plan of the enemy can hinder me. I live boldly in the assurance of Your finished work. Amen.
