The Spirit of Might
“And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.” Isaiah 11:2
There are moments in life when human strength fails, when the weight of responsibility, temptation, fear, or fatigue presses in hard. In those moments, what we need is not more self-reliance, but more of God.
One of the ways God meets us in our weakness is through the Spirit of Might, His empowering presence that gives supernatural strength to do what we could never do alone.
The Spirit of Might is not just for prophets or kings. It is for every believer walking in the will of God. Whether we are facing emotional storms, spiritual battles, difficult assignments, or overwhelming obstacles, the Spirit of Might helps us stand firm. It strengthens our resolve, fuels our courage, and revives us when we are weary.
Paul reminds us in Ephesians 6:10 to “Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.”
That power is not just theory, it is real, and it is available for your daily life.
Lord God, I acknowledge that I need your strength. I ask that you fill me with Your Spirit of Might. Empower me to tackle every challenge with the strength that comes from You. Strengthen my hands, steady my heart, and fix my eyes on You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
