The Word Prevails
“So the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed.”Acts 19:20
The Word “prevail” means to win and be triumphant. It connotes the presence of a conflict or a battle with one person exerting enough force to overturn the situation and come out on top. This aptly describes what believers should experience in their daily lives.
We must prevail over the enemy of our soul and every manifestation of his kingdom.
Acts 19:20 tells us the strategy we need to prevail: “So mightily grew the word of the Lord and prevailed”
This means that when God’s Word grows mightily (abundantly without hindrance) in your heart and life, you will definitely experience what it means to prevail (overcome, upturn, win).
The means to overcoming the enemy is by the Word. Head-knowledge of the Word isn’t enough! Taking the bible about really makes no difference!
Developing good habits is not enough!
To prevail, God’s Word must grow mightily in your heart, which is the seat of your decision making and reasoning.
The Word of God is mighty, yet we must ferociously feed on it in our life for its prevailing power to manifest.
Go for the Word. For all you will be in life, all your victories, deliverances, promotions, provisions, advancements, breakthroughs and testimonies are wrapped up in the Word!
Get the word and prevail in life!
