Times and Seasons
“There is a time to plant and a time to uproot…” Ecclesiastes 3:2
It is important to be aware of what season we are currently in. In some seasons, we are planting and in others we are uprooting. If we don’t know what season we are in, we will find ourselves exhausted because we are trying to plant when we should be uprooting, or we are uprooting when we should be planting.
The only way to know what season we are in is by seeking God and asking Him. Every season is designed by Him and has a purpose. Even in the natural, when the leaves fall, it may look like nothing is happening, but the trees are preparing their roots for the dry season. They are doing what they need to do in the current season to survive and thrive in the following seasons.
Are you in a season of planting or uprooting?
Learn to embrace your current season by relying on God and seeing it as an opportunity to grow and prepare for what He has next for you.
Seasons come and go, and every season is needed. Allow God to do what He needs to do within you in this season so you can have fruit in the next.
Lord, You have a purpose for every season, even when we don’t understand. Help us rely on You in all of our seasons. In Jesus’ name, amen
