Walk By Faith
“Noah did everything just as God commanded him.” Genesis 6:22
In the book “Practice Resurrection”, Eugene H. Peterson writes: “God speaks the decisive word that puts us on the way, the road. The path of life.
The Hebrew word for Bible is Miqra, a noun formed from the verb “to call” qara. The Bible is not a book to carry around and read for information on God, but a voice to listen to.
This word of God that we name Bible, book, is not at root a word to be read and looked at and discussed. It is a word to be listened to and obeyed, a word that gets us going. Fundamentally, it is a call: God calls us.”
The Lord does have a purpose for our lives and we need to trust Him.
Thank the Lord for His purpose for you, trust Him and walk by faith.
Obedience is the fruit of faith; patience the bloom on the fruit.
“We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” – 2 Corinthians
