We Are At War
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds” 2 Corinthians 10:4
Even though as Christians we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, yet we wrestle!
Even though the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God, yet we need the weapons of our warfare!
While you are not focused on the enemy, you also must not be so ignorant as to ignore his antics.
Jesus Christ has won the battle for us, yet, it is our responsibility to enforce it and to express this victory daily. This is what God expects of us, anything less is not good enough.
Our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers, thrones and dominions. For this reason, we must insist on our total deliverance and victory by declaring and affirming what the Bible says about the devil, his agents and systems.
It is important to pray with all manners of prayers and supplications, especially at this time. The idea that you don’t need to battle in prayer is a deception and lie of the enemy to cause us to be blindsided by his tactics. The Bible is unequivocal in addressing the issue of spiritual warfare.
The enemy will always try to oppose the fulfilment of God’s promise in the lives of humans, it could be in the form of systems, spirits or humans, he always seeks to frustrate, oppose, resist and hinder the great and mighty promise of God from being fulfilled.
That is why you have to put on the full (not some) armour of God and take back in the place of prayer all that has been rightfully deeded to you.
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armour of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.” Ephesians 6:10-11
