Worthy Is The Lamb
“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things, and by Your will they were created and have their being.” Revelation 4:11
The more we know God, the more we worship Him and become more like Him.
God wants to have a personal relationship with us, and He invites us to spend time with Him and learn more about who He is.
The definition of worthy is “one who has worth or value; honorable, admirable.”
This is a perfect definition of Jesus.
All glory, honor, and power belong to Him.
Following Him and obeying Him is worth any cost.
Contemplating what He did for us on Calvary should draw us to respond to Him passionately.
He did not just die on a cross; He conquered death and was raised to life again. He is now sitting at the right hand of the Father, interceding on our behalf.
No one else could have done that. That is why He alone is worthy of our praise, adoration, and obedience.
To worship is to ascribe worth. In our worship, we declare Him worthy of all we are.
Whatever we find worthy is what will give our time, gifts, and talents too.
Remember, we prioritize what we think is worthy.
