You Are With Me
“Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4
All of us will walk through wonderful mountaintop experiences, but we will also walk through dark valleys. While mountains and valleys are nothing alike, they do have one thing in common.
Jesus is with us through both.
We must remember that He is with us when we feel alone, lost, confused, and broken in the dark valleys and wilderness. We can turn to Him in those moments and receive His love and comfort.
Jesus is our good Shepherd. The job of the shepherd is to take care of their flock. The shepherd’s rod and staff are tools to protect and guide their sheep.
In Psalm 23, we read that Jesus, our good Shepherd, is with us in the dark valleys, ready to protect and guide us out, back up to the mountaintop. We do not have to navigate the dark valleys alone. We have God with us through it all.
In the dark valleys, choose to lean into your good Shepherd. He will protect you and guide you. You don’t have to go through this alone. Receive His love, comfort, and protection. You will get out of the dark valley; this season will come to an end.
