Your Tripple Help
“But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.” Psalm 3:3.
There are moments in life when the weight of the world presses hard. You may feel surrounded by fear, shame, lack, or even betrayal. David knew this feeling well. When he wrote Psalm 3, he was fleeing for his life, pursued by his own son, Absalom. Yet even in that dark valley, David declared something bold and unshakable: “But Thou, O Lord are…”
1. A Shield for Me:
God doesn’t promise a life without battles, but He promises to be your shield in the battle. He is your personal protector. He deflects the attacks you see and many you never even know about.
2. My Glory:
In a world that tries to define your worth by your status, appearance, or success, God is your true glory. He restores dignity where shame once lived. He reminds you who you are when others forget or reject you.
3. The Lifter of My Head:
When life brings you low, God lifts you. He doesn’t scold your sorrow, rather, He enters into it. And gently, He lifts your eyes off your fear and back onto Him.
So, going forward, walk knowing you are protected, valued, and held by the One who never fails.
